Geocortex Viewer for Silverlight 1.5.1: Now Available

May 29th, 2012 by Ryan Cooney

We’re pleased to announce that the Geocortex Viewer for Silverlight 1.5.1  maintenance release is now available. This release offers two new features (the ability to run commands from a feature description in the results list, and inclusion of the latest version of Geocortex Forms), and a number of bug fixes. As with all of our maintenance releases, we’ve focused primarily on quality improvements.

We encourage our customers to consult the release notes (found on our Geocortex Support Center with the release download) for more detailed information. Should your organization be served by an Authorized Geocortex Reseller, please contact your account representative for access to installers and documentation.

New Geocortex Release: Essentials 3.9

May 7th, 2012 by Ryan Cooney

We’re pleased to announce the general availability of Geocortex Essentials 3.9

Customers can consult the release notes, and download installers and supporting documentation from the Geocortex Support Center. Highlights of this release include:

  • Runtime modifications to Forms. The Display Form activity now contains a new child sequence activity that provides access to the Form’s object model, permitting runtime modifications to the form. This enables end users to be presented with different value options based on previous inputs (e.g. if user specifies their location is in “Canada”, they could be offered “Province” values rather than “State” values)
  • New Workflow activities (14 new and updated)
  • Compatibility with Esri ArcGIS Server 10.1 pre-release
  • Installer improvements
  • Bug fixes

Please contact your Latitude Geographics account representative or local reseller if you have any questions!
